About me:
I'm adventurous and enjoy being active but have somehow packed on extra pounds (35lbs to be exact) over the past three years - I blame my last couple of years in a hectic undergrad program and the transition into the "real" world with a desk job. But really, there's no point blaming anyone or anything, just time to change. I found Buddy Slim today and want to hold myself accountable to my weightloss and fitness goals and hope to meet people who are looking to do the same. No more "trying" to lose weight and get into shape - I'm GOING to do it.

And more about me - I'm happy-go-lucky, fiercely determined when I set my mind to something, and a great friend. I've sought out opportunities to travel to some of the most amazing places in the world, including Alaska, Guyana, Australia, SE Asia and East Africa. My experiences have made me who I am today.
Who I hope to meet:
Anyone who wants to be motivated, and who can motivate me to meet our fitness and weight loss goals :) There's strength in numbers!!
Diet:
Lowering the carbs sticking to lots of veggies fruits and protein
Exercise:
Hitting the gym at least 4x/wk biking attempt at the Beach Body 10 min workout (resistance bands)

thanks for the love on my blog. You wrote you will make a note when you have a work out schedule. Why not make it now then work on a schedule and pull it out when you need to..

I am a huge lister. Write lists all the time including work out list. Maybe that will work for ya

Hey good job on the yoga class! I started running in december when I bought my treadmill... it took me awhile to find my speed but when I jog I can go for about 1-2 hours depending on how good I feel! It depends on how long I go but I usually run for about 4-5 miles. I make sure I am at a steady jog so I don't get to tired to quick! It's all about finding your speed :) Talk to you soon.

I also have low b12 and I have just bought some b12 tablets from vitacost... they should be in any day and I am excited to see if they give me an extra boost! :) good luck today! I woke up at 9, not as early as I wanted but it will do! I am about to get my run in and I am pumped! Talk to you soon.
