About me:
I am a mother of two (12 & 2 year olds). Both boys and they give me a run for my money. I also want my family to be healthy so we're all on the lifestyle change band wagon together. I'm a legal asst and it's just okay, wish I could stay home with the kiddos. I hate exercise...there I said it. I really do so I'm picky about what I do and most times I go out just because the challenge of losing weight puts me there. It's a game!!! Weird huh? But I guess if it works and gets me out there, who cares. So far the change hasn't been bad and I'm finding some good alternatives to my love of food.
Who I hope to meet:
People who have some great ideas for diabetic recipe alternatives. Ways to "fake out" my mind and taste buds that I'm eating sinful stuff. Found a few on here so far and love them and waiting for more.
Diet:
I'm pre-diabetic so I'm on the low carb no sugar "lifestyle" change.
Exercise:
I hate it but do it anyway just because it's good for me.

1. I've been dieting since 8/4/08 and exercising since 11/08. My stamina is up and I want to be able to take the family out hiking without having to stop for breath or just be too pooped to do it. Challenge for this weekend....

I challenge you to workout Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
It doesn't have to be a hardcore workout,
just get out and do something active for
at least 45 mins each day.
I believe in you and know you can do it, no problem...right? LOL
