Thanks for the comment on my blog, I never thought of myself as an inspiration since I'm here just to be inspired lol!

I started off with weight watchers, recording the calories and fat and fiber I had each day. Then after a while, I just got a feel for it. I also stopped eating meat (besides seafood/shellfish), soda, limited the dairy I ate and I continue to keep a mental track of how many calories and fat grams I have each day. I treat myself once in a while, once or twice a week. It's odd though, I'm not able to eat nearly as much as I used to. Also I drink a ton of water.

It's just about self control and portion control. Telling yourself that you'll have something you're really craving "some other time" rather than denying yourself completely really helps. Just a ton of tricks... but it seems like you're doing good yourself! Keep it up :) I think I'll keep track of you, I love to watch other peoples progress.
