About me:
I am a 40 year old, very happily married stay at home mom. I have a beautiful 19 monthold daughter that I need to be able to keep up with!! She wears me out!!I am returning to Buddyslim after about a 2 month absence. Unfortunately I put on 12 lbs. since then!! I am so dissapointed in myself. Now I have even more weight to lose! I am pretty motivated right now and I hope to find buddies that can help " keep me in check" and help to hold me accountable for what I eat and how I exercise.
Who I hope to meet:
Buddies who can help keep me mentally strong and motivated!! To get on to me when I'm slacking off!! To laugh at life, because sometimes it's pretty darn funny and we just need to!!
Diet:
Slim Fast and lots of veggies. Smaller dinner portions. Lots of water!!
Exercise:
Currently walking about 3-5 miles a day 4x a week and 30 min. on the eliptical machine 4x a week

WOO HOO! I lost 5 pounds so far. Today I bought a juicer. I know I don't get the required amount of daily fruits & veggies so I'm going to give it a try! Just wanted to say "hello" and hope you're doing well! Thanks for all your support!

Thanks for adding me, we all need each others support. I sure do love this website, there are so many inspirational people on here. I want to get up to walking as much as you do. I just started walking again, I'm up to 30mins per day, but eventually want to walk as much as you do. Take care!

To all my Commit to Get Fit Buddies:
Another challenge for you, a short one.  This is the last week of October, our last week of our October Activity Log.  Let's end this month with a huge bang!

I challenge you to:

*DO CARDIO EVERYDAY THIS WEEK FOR AT LEAST 45 MIN EACH DAY.

*DO 15 PUSHUPS EVERYDAY THIS WEEK

*DO 20 CRUNCHES EVERYDAY THIS WEEK

*DO 15 LUNGES & 15 SQUATS EVERYDAY THIS WEEK

(push ups/crunches/luges/squats are in addition to what you already have planned)

I know you can do this.  We all can.  I know this month has been much better for me than the last.  Let's finish it up great and start November feeling so good and proud of what we have accomplished.  Good luck and move it!!

Haven't see you in the Commit to Get Fit forum in a while.  Hope all is well and you are still keeping up with your workouts.  Whatever you do, don't give up, you can do this.... and you're totally worth it.  Check in with us sometime and let us know how you've been.
