About me:
Ok, "about me" in 2000 characters or less. Well, I am 30 years old, married, live in Massachusetts and have for my entire life. Along with my brother in laws we have decided to loose some weight. We've set our goal at 10% of our body weight by June 1st (today is April 1st). We HOPE that is a realistic goal. While I am not totally unhappy with my current weight, I could get myself into better shape. Tonight I weighed myself and was 192 lbs. This is the heaviest I've ever been, but it is also the oldest I've ever been! LOL! I feel you have to keep some kind of sense of humor to get through life. If I could loose up to 20 lbs. within the next 2 months I would be happy. Moreso, if I could get into eating a bit more healthy than I have been lately, I would be happier with myself. Also, if I could get into a regular exercise routine once again, I would also be happy with myself. Growing up I seemed to have no problems eating what I wanted when I wanted and could just shake it off, however, once I hit age 24 that changed and I noticed I could not do that so much anymore. I suppose that's all part of getting older. Now that I am comitting myself to making this change, I have been trying to research on-line the different healthy things I can do (food, snacks, exercise etc.) and came across this website. I figure maybe with others doing the same thing I am that too will help. If you can be "peer pressured" into doing not so good things, why not have some peer support when trying to do something good for yourself. |
Who I hope to meet:
I really would just like to talk to anybody who may be going through a similar situation, or somebody that has already done something like what I am trying to do. Also, anybody who has suggestions on what I should be doing would always be appreciated. |
Diet:
Wheat Toast Breakfast. Wrap or Salad Lunch , Chicken/Steak for Dinner. Fruit as snacks in between. |
Exercise:
What I do for work is pretty physical , but I am planning to walk on a regualr basis and rollerblade. |
