What works for me?

Well  - limiting calories (obviously). I am female ( also fairly obvious) so i need less than you  - there you go you see  - you get to eat more than me! Bonus! 

low fat and low GI  - You could well be a diet expert (many of us are after all ) and already know all about low GI foods  - if not let me know.  I too was a carb junkie and found that Low GI was "The Way".

Regular exercise  - and mix it up  - Treadmill, yawn! -  Why not take up a new sport that you will get better and better at as your fitness improves.  Something completely different that you have always wanted to try. ?  Any thoughts?

Keep up the good work!  Don't be discouraged and I know that you can get down to your goal sooner then you think.  6 lbs down and just a few more to get to your mini goal!  Woohoo.

your hero? sweet! i've never been a hero before! the night munchies are a tough one. i started by allowing myself to keep one night for that and otherwise i try and stick to carrots. seems to help most of the time!
