About me:
Hey, my name is Sky and I joined here to swap stories, get some help, and offer up anything I have that can help. Feel free to ask any questions or offer any advice. In Sep. of 08 I weighed in at the Dr's Office and the scale said 272 lbs. I was determined to knock that off. So I took to running and by June of 09 I was down to 215. Then I restarted school, got lazy, and jumped back up to 245. Since then (late October) I've started running again and getting serious.
My strategy is to basically treat my body as a machine. I do things to keep my machine running well oiled and healthy. I tend to consume 6 meals a day, all about 250-calories. I try to get at least 120 grams of protein a day too. I don't cheat, not that cheating is that bad, but I know myself. If i take one meal off, it will turn into a day, that day will turn into a week and before you know it, I'm in serious trouble. So anyway, my strategy may not work for you, but I'm a believer in execution over tactics. |
Who I hope to meet:
