About me:
Navy wife of 5 years to an awesome man and a mom to 5 kiddies and 2 kitties. My ultimate goal is to lose 70 pounds COMPLETELY and FOREVER!!! My current weight is 185 and my goal weight is 115. I stand very short at only 4'11" so this extra 70-75 pounds that I'm packing is hell on my back and ankles.
I am cheating a little bit with trying to lose the weight. I take a weightloss supplement called Curvelle by Isatori every morning. It takes away my craving for the sugar and the sweet stuff... believe me when I get a craving for it it will nag at me for days until I break down... and when I break down it ends up being a binge instead of just a little bite to end the craving. This pill completely blocks the craving for me.
I still eat 3 times a day of homemade meals just smaller portions and I snack on the veggies and ranch (I know, that ranch is fattening but it's better for you than candy) throughout the day. I cut out soda to just one once in a while and I drink a lot more water now. No fancy water, just plain old tap water in a reusable bottle. Of course, I have to have my coffee... yes with powder creamer (my baaad... trying hard not to use it but ugh... it's so hard) and splenda. And I drink hot green tea or hot any kind of tea with splenda.
I take Vitamins and Omega3/DHA fish oil pills in the evenings after dinner. It really does help me feel better and have a better outlook about everything. Very strange, but it really helps me to get a good nights sleep also. I haven't been having strange dreams and I haven't been waking up so exhausted like I haven't slept for days on end.
I'm working on going to the gym and taking at least 1 but trying to make it 2 cardio classes a day M-F and strength training at least once a day M-F.
I'm taking the kids out for evening walks everyday (or as close to it as possible) and when the pool opens up I'll be taking them there a lot also.
