About me:
I'm a 30 year old separated mother of 3 beautiful children. My hobbies include writing, singing, dabbling with the piano and guitar, and photography.

At my heaviest, I was nearing 300, but I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I've lost much of the weight since them, but am struggling with these last 25 pounds or so.

What did I do? Well, I lost about 30 pounds or so on the Atkins diet (low carb), but felt that it was very unhealthy and decided to quit.

A year or so later, I adopted the Hallelujah diet and lost about 50 pounds or so. Again, that diet was too strict and I felt like I was missing out on life.

Since then, I've been trying to cut back on food, although I end up feeling deprived and then scarf down anything and everything. I've also worked out from time to time. I'd do real well for a few weeks, then give it up due to life being so busy and 2 pregnancies that ended in miscarriage.

So, I've been losing a few pounds here and there. And I've also picked up a few. But I'm ready for a change. Now being recentlly separated, I want to stop hiding under carefully picked clothing and just lose those extra pounds!
Who I hope to meet:
I'd like to meet anybody who is also trying to lose weight--preferably women near my age with children because I feel that they will better understand my circumstances.
Diet:
I'm not on a specific diet. Lots of water. Fruit/salad for breakfast/lunch. Sensible dinner.
Exercise:
Aerobics/toning three times per week walking jogging and whatever else I can do!
