Hiya! :-D

I'm 26, married, with 2 beautiful daughters.
Jade is 7yrs old & Eve is 2yrs old.

I'm starting a full-time Health & Beauty Therepy Diploma @ college this September (2009) and really don't want to carry on being almost 3st over my 'pre-children weight'!

It's getting me down & taking my self-esteem with it!!
Who I hope to meet:
Buddies who are in a similar situation to me, needing to loose 2-3st to get to an ideal & healthy weight.

Try To Follow Slimming World :-)
Exercise:
Walking but have become lazy with it over the last few months...

Hey Mandy :) Welcome to buddyslim. Sorry for late response - I haven't been online for a couple of weeks but yeah just let me know if you are struggling with any parts of the site and I will of course help you out :)

I am a member of a weight loss group which may be a good place to start?  Click the forum tab - go to weight loss groups - and we are Let Me Out, it's all about letting out the happy and healthy people inside us... but mainly we chat about how we are doing and what our goals are lol but it's a nice environment to start off in.

Congrats on the 4lbs!! Slimming World really is a great diet, just have to make sure we stick to it properly!! Sometimes I allow myself a few too many treats and it just throws me off completely lol.  You should also add my buddy Judith - www.buddyslim.com/onthewaydown she is also doing slimmng world so it is nice to have someone to message about the diet plan sometimes.

Feel free to message me anytime if there is anything you wanna chat about, or just to let me know how you're doing!!

Hey sweetie

thanks for the blog love. Now I am pretty healthy because I walk a ton at work. So I can walk miles on end already. I could only do 500 yards at the bginning and let me tell you I had to push myself. Then I just added a bit more length to the run. I did intervals as well .25 kilometers run .25 milometers walk etc.. Walking builds up your endurance as well so walk wak walk and you will get there. if you want to run you can. Just start slow. For some reason it came pretty easily to me. Don't ask me why probably because I wanted it so bad. Just start walking and the rest will come. Go easy to prevent injury
