About me:
I am 24 and live in Birmingham, AL. I've been married a year to a wonderful man who makes me so happy. I work in accounting and hate it, but hopefully I can get out of here soon.
My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary! We got married on March 17th, St. Patrick's Day!!! It was such a fun little wedding. We planned it in 3 weeks, had less than 30 people at the wedding (on purpose) and everything was SPD themed. We had a big reception a few months later where we had a lot of guests. I had the time of my life on 3/17/08. I wish I could re-live that day over and over :)
I have always had a weight problem. I have a love affair with food. I never let it get really out of control until my sophmore year of college though. I wanted to learn to bake, so that summer, while living with my parents, I was constantly making cookies and cakes, and I ate everything I made and ballooned up to 200 pounds. When I saw the scale saying 200, it was awful. I lost some of the weight, and then a lot more once I discovered DDR (dance dance revolution). I was 165 when I met my husband in December 2006. I'm between 5'9 and 5'10, so I wasn't fat at that weight at all. At the time, though, I thought I was so fat, but looking back I think, wow, I wish I were that small again. Cause I've let myself get out of hand once more, and I'm almost at 200 again. I had to buy some more clothes b/c most of my wardrobe no longer fits. I'm so depressed, but it is so hard to lose this dang weight. Well, it'd probably be easy if I would just stick to my diet and exercise program. But I lose my motivation real easily. Food calls my name, and I can't ignore it's cry to be eaten. |
Who I hope to meet:
I'd like to meet nice, like-minded people who share similar problems and experiences that I do. I need all the help I can get in order to stay motivated and lose all my weight once and for all. |
Diet:
I'm a really picky eater , so eating healthy is hard. I try to eat a lot of fruit & raw veggies. |
Exercise:
I don't usually enjoy exercise , & I'm anything but consistent about it. I do DDR , yoga , and aerobics |
