Hmmm... I really don't have the time to read any books outside of my textbooks. I love any books that are psychology based, because that's what I got my BA in. I currently in a personal health class and I love reading about that kind of jazz. I'm not a big romance type of novel person. Simply put I’m interested in books that are inspirational, motivating, educational, and that I can apply to a real life setting for the most part. As you can see I have been on here once before, as a faithful memeber, and just like many other things in my life I fail off the wagon. (Damn that wagon!!) Anyhoo, sense the last time I was on this site I lost a total of 34lbs through healthy eating and excercise. Unfourantely I gained it back, except for one pound. I'm not trying to make excuses, but I am trying to offer words of encouagement from those who are in a smiliar situation. This is because, when I started my weight lost journey, I also was trying to quit smoking! (IF you are a smoker, you know my stuggle) I'm glad to say now, that altough I gained my weight back, I have been smoke free for 6 months thanks to my welbutrin and joinnig a free quititng smoking cessation.
If you are a smoker, overweight, and a depressive type of person. It's really hard to pick which one thing to work on because each issue is interlocked so tightly and it can make your depression worse. When you quit smoking you may feel like you are losing a bff and you decided to lean on your old time friend food. The nictione rush that you use to get, you are now looking for those chemicals in your food. I ate so much sugar it was ridiculous. I was so out of control, and I prayed that one day that my cravings would either halt or slow down. Guess what they have halted!!!!!!! Yea. I've joined weight watchers to help me get back on track, because I realize I need that support system!! Hit me up anytime.

(EXTRA READ...IF YOU WANT) I’m 24 years old going on 25 in July, and I’m really committed about loosing this weight (not that I wasn’t committed the first billion times I’ve tried in my lifetime). I’ve always been overweight even as a child. I’m 258lbs trying to struggle to get to 160 or 150. I have plenty of things to say about myself in detail, but I will save that for a different time and date. If you want to get to know me better just contact me. I actually want to meet the new and real me. I’ve been overweight all of my life, and it seems like I haven’t reached my full potential, because of my insecurities that orbit around my size. I want to see myself at the weight I should be and feel the confidence that I've always yearned for. Of course, I want to meet Oprah after writing a bestseller of my weight struggles and making millions of dollars. Okay i must admit it took me a minute to realize what I was really supposed to put here... Yes... I had a slow moment... I want to meet people like myself who want to mange their weight and who can be honest with me even when I'm slacking and making too many excuses.

Personal Goal
1. Drink plenty of water instead of high sugary drinks. 2. Plan and Prepare Healthy Meals with Fruits, Vegetables, and Lean Meats. 3. Cut down on my carbohydrates, (trust me I get enough of them) 4. To have my sweet healthy revenge ( I believe that taking care of yourself and looking and feeling healthy is the best revenge and I want it!!!) 5. Stay a way to fast-food restaurants. 6. Allow my self to only go to sit down restaurants with friends only when planned and limit myself to twice a week and most importantly choose nutritious meals. 7. Make a fitness plan and stick with it daily and put it up on my goal list within the next week. 8. Quit smoking to make my weight loss easier and have more years added to my life.

Hi chika, what a lovely picture you have there, cute smile! Thank you for your awesome words, I keep forgetting to come in here and update! But I will be doing so more often, I weigh in every Monday so I should be logining in than anyway. Hang in there you'll rock it out! Oh and I find that a pair of jeans a few sizes too small are a good motivator and better than the scale sometimes! All my best!
