About me:
I am a 35 year old mother of four, wife to one. I have basically been overweight my entire life. I have tried every plan. My major issues are major sugar/carb addiction (I love sweets), night time eating, and lack of consistency. I am sure many of you can relate to yo yo dieting. Unfortunately, I have not had the low part of the yo yo. I haven't stuck with anything long enough.
Now, I am to the point where I am so severely obese, that I just can't stand it anymore. This is ridiculous. I know if I don't change my ways, I am going to lose my ability to do anything. I am currently in school to be a nurse, but I really need to make sure that I am physically able to stand on my feet.
Plus, my mom told me that her knee and hip is going out because of her weight. I know that if I don't make positive changes in my life, I will have the same problems.
I just want to feel good. I don't have to fit into a mini skirt. I just want to be able to do physical things without being exhausted.
I am disappointed with myself for letting myself go. In the last year, I have become less and less social and stopped going out. It took me a year to figure out that I am avoiding people who will judge me based on my weight. I am even avoiding my best friends. I used to be a social butterfly, but not anymore. I avoid social situations at all costs now.
My goal is to get healthy, stay healthy, feel physically better, and to find a way to love myself...NO MATTER WHAT. |

I want to meet others who are on the same journey and need support--just like I do. |
Diet:
I am staying pretty simple with my eating plan. I try to stay within 1200--1500 calories per day. |
Exercise:
I do the Walk Away the Pounds workout and ride my stationary bike. |
