About me:
The most important thing I have done for myself and my health is to limit processed foods that have hindered my health. I changed this because I once wrote that I cut out the processed foods, but NOW it is limit. Though I aim for a mostly non-processed food diet I am realistic in that I also have the things that I love too.

A personal philosophy I have had for sometime is that in loving myself I will feed myself well and move and make myself stronger and stronger each day. A good idea, but as we all know, not always so easy. I have struggled with my weight all my life ranging from 250-165 lbs. Now I let go of the struggle a little, which is tough for me. But I am aiming for less obsessiveness. How do I do this?

THE BEST THING I HAVE DONE IS go to my local library and borrow Intuitive Eating. I will be buying this soon, but I just could not wait. This is the best book ever! If one is OBSESSED with dieting and a number, this book is for you! I never wanted to see myself as obsessed, but I have been this way. This book is the only tool I will ever need I think. There will be NO MORE diet books, articles or ideas. I really do not care...so tiring! I am releasing the heaviness of my mind and what I have always thought was ideal.

The Dreamer: The Dali Lama, Mark Messier, the late Benazir Bhutto and Mother Teresa would have been lessons and halves, James Blunt, Rafael Nadal, Oprah, Eckhart Tolle, Oscar the Grouch, hmmmmm.......

The Realist: I have "met" some of the absolute best people here and I am so grateful for all my wonderful buddies. I have no hopes here. I do want to say that I feel incredibly lucky to have you treasured individuals in my world. Thank you.
